Meanwhile, a ruthless criminal (Devadatta) sets his sights on taking his illegal marijuana empire global. He discovers a rare and highly sought-after strain grown in the village of Rudrakonda.
Around the same time, Reena Vasudev (Sreeleela), daughter of AV Pharma's Australian head Abhinav Vasudev (Sijju), arrives in Rudrakonda. What ties the powerful pharma executive to the villain? Why is Ram accompanying Reena? And how is international drug lord David (David Warner) connected to this web of crime? The mystery unfolds during the film.
Made on a reported budget of Rs 60 crore, Robinhood only managed to take home Rs 13.31 crore. Opened to largely negative reviews, it ended up being a box office bomb.
123Telugu rated the film 3 out of 5, and a part of their review read, ¡°Robinhood is a fun, lighthearted entertainer that delivers its fair share of laughs and emotions. Venky Kudumula¡¯s signature humour, paired with well-executed emotional beats, makes it an enjoyable watch. Nithiin and Devadatta Nage deliver solid performances, adding to the film¡¯s appeal. While a tighter, more gripping narrative could have elevated it further, Robinhood still serves as a decent weekend entertainer for those looking for a fun, time-pass movie.¡±
