As per Netflix, what was meant to be a luxurious four-day round trip from Galveston, Texas, to Cozumel, Mexico, quickly turned into a nightmare for the more than 4,000 passengers and crew on board. An engine room fire severely damaged the electrical cables powering the entire ship, leaving it stranded without propulsion, refrigeration, lighting, air conditioning, or most disastrously,? working toilets.
Raw sewage soon began flooding the ship, food supplies started to run low, and tensions among passengers escalated into open revolt. While the cruise company scrambled to manage the crisis, the damage was already done.
The executive producers of Trainwreck: Poop Cruise include Sheun Adelasoye De Nicola, Alexander Marengo, and Tim Wardle from RAW, along with William Swann and Casey Feldman.
