SRK's Jawan Breaks Another Record, Becomes Fastest Bollywood Movie To Surpass ?300 Crore Mark

Shah Rukh Khan's latest film, Jawan, is on a record-breaking spree. King Khan's newly released Jawan has registered another win—earning Rs 322 crore in its opening week in the Hindi version.

Following its record-breaking Rs 250 crore opening weekend, the Atlee-directed film maintained a strong weekday performance. It earned Rs 29.50 crore on Monday, Rs 23.50 crore on Tuesday and Rs 20.50 crore on Wednesday. This brought the film's estimated 7-day total collection to Rs 322 crore.

"Jawan" has set a new record by surpassing the previous best opening week of "Pathaan" (Rs 317 crore).?

The 8-day extended week one total for "Jawan" is estimated to be around Rs 340 crore, and it is expected to continue its strong performance in the second weekend. The film's success can be attributed to Shah Rukh Khan's stardom, as fans were excited to see him in a rugged and raw avatar in this action-packed entertainer.

The film performed exceptionally well in major cinema chains, including PVR Inox and Cinepolis, which contributed Rs 154 crore during the opening week, making up approximately 47 percent of the total box office earnings.

The third-largest chain, Miraj, contributed significantly with an opening-week collection of Rs 11.80 crore.?

MovieMax, MovieTime, and Rajhans added Rs 5.22 crore, Rs 4.05 crore, and Rs 3.85 crore to the film's earnings during the first seven days.

The six major multiplex players accounted for Rs 179 crore, representing 56 percent of the film's box office revenue.

When considering Wave and a couple of multiplex chains, the overall contribution of multiplexes to Jawan's box office earnings would be approximately 60 to 62 percent. Single-screen theaters also contributed around 38 to 40 percent to the film's business.?

With Jawan's success, Shah Rukh Khan has again achieved multiple records, including the highest number of days, with earnings exceeding Rs 50 crore and Rs 60 crore for a Hindi film star.?

He is also the first and only actor in Hindi cinema to have days with earnings of Rs 60 crore and Rs 70 crore under his name.

The movie has also established records in various regions for its opening week, and the same can be said for its performance in theaters.
