Actress Preity Zinta recently held an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on X (formerly Twitter), where she answered a variety of questions from her fans. Some asked her about her viral photo with Virat Kohli, while others inquired about the Punjab Kings, and she responded to them all. During the session, someone asked the actress if she was joining the BJP, to which Preity lashed out. However, when the person later clarified their intention, she apologised and explained that she has PTSD related to that question.
Responding to the question, Preity had written ¡°That¡¯s the problem with people on social media, everybody has become so judgemental off late¡±.
"As I said earlier, going to a temple / Maha Kumbh and being proud of who I am & my identity does not equate with me joining politics or for that reason BJP.?
She also said that since she does not live in India now she appreciates the culture more.?
After her reply, the netizen clarified that the question wasn¡¯t judgemental and they thought of this because of her recent tweets.
Replying to this, Preity apologised and said she is sorry for sounding abrupt. She also added, ¡°I am facing constant criticism & this simple joy is being taken away by my choice being politicized all the time. I feel I need to keep answering for being who I am or having pride in teaching my kids about their roots & religion .¡±
