Game Of Thrones makers made us wait for 595 days before they aired season 8 on TV. We were assuming they were nailing it to perfection, but apparently there was something really wrong in the last episode of the show.

What the makers couldn’t spot, the eagle-eyed Game of Thrones fans did – a coffee mug – apparently a Starbucks one. How did that land in the world of Westeros?

It immediately caught people’s attention.

HBO finally acknowledged the mistake and sneakily made the amendments.

And now, the cup has its own Twitter account.

But who is to be blamed? It has all come down to two culprits.

People think it’s Sophie Turner’s plan to sabotage the Khaleesi.

But Emilia Clarke thinks she has stumbled upon the truth.

Even Joe Jonas, Sophie’s husband thinks it’s her fault. Joe said this in a video message for Sophie Turner which was played when she appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

But she pointed fingers at Emilia Clarke. “This girl dies," she says pointing to Ramsey/Mormont in the photo. "And this is a scene from the episode after she dies, so why am I holding this coffee cup, that's in a different scene? And also, we all have the same cups for all of our water and tea and everything. So I'm just gonna go with, I mean, look who it's placed in front. Emilia Clarke, she's the culprit,” she said.

Meanwhile, according to reports, Starbucks has got an estimated $2.3 billion (Rs. 16,000 crore) of free advertising because of the entire hoopla. And guess what? It wasn’t even a Starbucks cup!
