John Cena is set to challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed Championship at WrestleMania 41 on Sunday, April 20, in one of the biggest matches of the year. He is the heel heading into the bout as he betrayed ¡®QB1¡¯ at Elimination Chamber 2025 on The Rock¡¯s orders.?
The Cenation Leader is likely to receive some help from ¡®The Final Boss¡¯ during the match. However, Cena is not the only one who has an ally in the back. If push comes to shove, Cody Rhodes¡¯s mentor Randy Orton could come to his aid at ¡®The Show of Shows¡¯.
Randy Orton has a strong association with Cody Rhodes. The current Undisputed Championship learned the tricks of the trade from ¡®The Viper¡¯ when they were part of Legacy. Not too long ago, Orton shared the ring with Rhodes and said that he was proud of whatever he has accomplished over the years. He also took a dig at Cena for ¡®selling his soul¡¯ to The Rock.?
?Moreover, the buzz is that Orton could face off against ¡®The Franchise¡¯ at Backlash. As such, he could set up a feud with Cena by costing him an opportunity to win the title and at his final WrestleMania. This will also help Rhodes keep his momentum intact. Given this, one can¡¯t rule out the possibility of Orton making his presence felt at WrestleMania 41in the most emphatic way possible.?
The former ¡®Legend Killer¡¯ was to take on Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 41 but the match was called off after KO injured his neck. Orton has issued an open challenge to the roster and assured the WWE Universe that he will be in Las Vegas for WrestleMania 41. The buzz is that either Nick Aldis or Solo Sikoa will accept the challenge. Orton has history with both men. He has RKOed the SmackDown GM on a few occasions. Moreover, he brawled with Solo Sikoa on a recent episode of the blue brand.?
WrestleMania Night 2 will take place in Las Vegas on April 20.?
