Rainbows are rare. Double rainbows are rarer, but you know what¡¯s rarer than that? Two rainbows and lightning occurring at the same time.?
If you remember science lessons from school, you might recall that the rainbow is a phenomenon that occurs due to refraction, reflection and dispersion of light.?
They usually can be seen if there is sunlight right after a rain shower, and it appears in the direction opposite to that of the sun.
A meteorologist, Ed Russo posted a picture which showed a double rainbow and lightning occurring at the same time. This is what the post read, ¡®Have you ever been lucky enough to capture lightning AND a double rainbow together? Amy Grabowski Sanders was! Pic from Chambersburg, PA.¡¯Ed Russo.¡¯
The image is really breathtaking. One of the comments on the post read, ¡®wow! That¡¯s incredible!¡¯ and most people resounded this opinion. In other comments people shared the mesmerizing and awe-inspiring nature images clicked by them.?
