Selena Gomez¡¯s TikTok account appeared to have been hacked recently, shocking fans when her bio was changed to include the message ¡°F*ck Kim Kardashian.¡± The unexpected and vulgar update quickly caught attention online before being taken down, and screenshots soon spread across social platforms. Fans of the Only Murders in the Building stars are suspecting that Justin and Hailey Bieber's fans were behind it.
Fans noticed something off about Selena Gomez¡¯s TikTok account on Saturday when her bio suddenly showed the message, ¡°F*ck Kim Kardashian.¡± The update was quickly removed, but not before it sparked a wave of speculation online. Many fans believe the hack could be linked to supporters of Justin and Hailey Bieber, especially given the long-running tension between Selena and the Biebers since her split from Justin in 2018.
The incident has added fuel to ongoing rumours that both sides may be involved in behind-the-scenes smear campaigns, with some fans convinced that what¡¯s happening online isn¡¯t just random but a well-curated PR plan.
A pop culture page called Pop Faction also weighed in, connecting the TikTok hack to recent cheating rumors involving Gomez¡¯s fiance, Benny Blanco. According to the page, fans of Justin and Hailey may have played a role in spreading the accusations, suggesting the hack was part of a broader attempt to shift public focus.
The post on X stated that after Justin faced backlash online for allegedly mistreating Hailey, some fans tried to redirect attention by pushing a cheating narrative around Benny. It claimed the rumours were amplified by a mother-son duo behind a viral anti-Selena account, which reportedly earns between $7,000 and $10,000 a month through Twitter¡¯s revenue program, giving them added incentive to keep the drama going.
Selena Gomez¡¯s fans were quick to rally in her defence after the rumours and alleged TikTok hack made the rounds. Many took to social media to call out what they see as a targeted campaign to drag her name through the mud, especially with the cheating allegations against Benny Blanco and the resurfaced tensions with the Biebers.
One user said, "God, why won't Team Selena just do anything about it? What the hell is going to happen so that they finally notice that something or someone is destroying her name and image? @SelenaFanClub, do something about it for fuck's sake."
A second user added, "Can these people, like, get a life? Like, this is worrying behavior."
"@SelenaFanClub, we saw a similar case with a gaming application, but this one is much deeper. Please, we need you to do something; our multiple reports are not being filed for some reason," a third wrote.
A fourth user mentioned, "They're literally using Selena for money while spreading fake news."
?Selena Gomez has not commented on the alleged TikTok hack. She¡¯s currently focused on promoting her deluxe album with Benny Blanco, I Said I Love You First... And You Said It Back.
