The Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan and his wife, Anna Lezhneva, went through a tough time lately when their youngest son, Mark, was injured in a school fire in Singapore.
After the difficult time, Kalyan was seen in complete protective parent mode as the couple returned to Hyderabad from Singapore, carrying his son in his arms. It was not it; Pawan's wife, Anna, shaved her head at Tirumala to seek blessings from Lord Venkateswara.
Now, several photos of Anna Lezhneva tonsuring her head at Tirumala have gone viral on the internet. Moreover, Pawan Kalyan of the Jana Sena Party himself shared pictures of his wife on his official X (formerly called Twitter) and mentioned that Anna donated her hair after she visited the temple.
On the other hand, there are also reports that Glute Anna Lezhneva signed a religious declaration during her visit to the Tirumala temple.
This is a customary practice for non-Hindu devotees, and the declaration confirms the devotee's faith in Lord Venkateswara and their intent to seek blessings from the sacred Hindu god. Many devotees shave their heads at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirumala, as it is considered one of the very special traditions at the temple.
Some devotees also do it as a promise they made to God, like, ¡°If my wish comes true, I¡¯ll offer my hair." It¡¯s their way of saying thank you for the blessings they received."
The fire incident occurred at a school in the River Valley area of Singapore. The fire reportedly engulfed the second and third floors of the building.
On the other hand, a video clip from the incident has now gone viral on social media, which captured the firefighters breaking windows and assisting panicked students and staff out of smoke-filled classrooms.
A look at the viral video here:
The blaze claimed the life of one child and injured 19 others, including Mark Shankar. However, the emergency crews, including the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), immediately arrived at the location and tried to control the fire.
While, as per Singapore¡¯s Home Affairs Minister K. Shanmugam, a 10-year-old lost her life in the fire, and around 20 other children, including 15, sustained injuries.?
