In September 2024, the Kapoor family celebrated Nirmal Kapoor¡¯s 90th birthday. On that occasion, her son Boney Kapoor posted an emotional message: ¡°Mummy ji happy 90th birthday, just 1 more decade for a century. We need you to be there for us, bless us, protect us & above all keep guiding us.¡±
The family she leaves behind
Nirmal Kapoor was the wife of the late Surinder Kapoor, a well-known film producer. Together, they raised four children, including sons Anil, Boney, Sanjay, and a daughter. She was also grandmother to several Bollywood celebrities like Arjun Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Harsh Vardhan Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, and Mohit Marwah.
