Police in Ajmer, Rajasthan have arrested one Salman Chisti said to be a cleric at the famed Darga in the city after he announced to give away his house and property as a reward to anyone who decapitates Nupur Sharma.
Salman who is said to be a Khadim was arrested on Tuesday night by the Dargah police.

Salman is a history-sheeter
Police officials said that Salman is a history-sheeter of the Dargah police station and has been a criminal. There are more than a dozen cases registered against him for murder, firing, assault, and intimidation.
Police said that Salman Chishti is a habitual drug addict and made an objectionable post viral in a state of intoxication.
The video in which he is seen announcing his property as a reward for anyone beheading Nupur Sharma was reportedly recorded before the murder of Udaipur tailor Kanhaiya Lal last week.
"Prima facie, he made the video in an inebriated condition. He is being interrogated further," Ajmer Assistant Superintendent of Police Vikas Sangwan said.
What he said in the video
In the video, the cleric is purportedly seen and heard announcing he would gift his house to anyone who brings Sharma's head to him. Chishti is also allegedly heard saying he would shoot her dead for insulting the Prophet.
"You have to give a reply to all Muslim countries. I am saying this from Ajmer, Rajasthan, and this message is from Huzur Khwaja Baba ka darbar," he purportedly says in the video, referring to the Sufi shrine.

Last week two men beheaded Udaipur tailor Kanhaiya Lal, for allegedly supporting Nupur Sharma on social media.
The two accused, identified as Riaz Akhtari and Ghouse Mohammad who also made a video of their brutal act were arrested within hours from neighbouring district of Rajsamand.

Deewan of the Ajmer Dargah condemns Udaipur beheading
Zainul Abedin Ali Khan, the Deewan of the Ajmer Dargah was one of the first Muslim leaders to condemn the brutal murder.
Khan had said the accused were a part of certain radical groups that find a solution only via the path of violence.
¡°I strongly discourage this act and plead with the government to take strict action against them. Muslims of India will never allow Talibanisation mindset to surface in our motherland,¡± he said.
¡°In the gruesome video that surfaced on the internet, some non-ethical minds committed a brutal attack on a poor man which is received as a punishable sin in the Islamic world,¡± he added.
