More PS5 Stocks Arriving Before End Of This Year, Says Sony
Sony has assured that more PS5 stocks are on its way and are scheduled to reach stores before the year ends.
If there is something gamers are truly excited about, it¡¯s getting their hands on the latest and greatest PlayStation 5. The abstract piece of art that can game on 4K resolutions has truly awed many in the gaming community (including me).

While we still have no exact date for the console¡¯s launch in India, the internet is showing the crazy demandPS5 is in, across the world. And the current holiday season is not doing the current situation any favours.
Scalpers have hoarded as many PS5 console stocks as they can, and they¡¯re charging a hefty premium over the MSRP -- a website called StockX was spotted selling it for $1,000 each when the MSRP is just $599.

And in case you were considering purchasing the console for the hefty price tag, just stop.
Sony has issued an official statement through its official Twitter handle, pertaining to the shortage, "We want to thank gamers everywhere for making the PS5 launch our biggest console launch ever. Demand for PS5 is unprecedented, so we wanted to confirm that more PS5 inventory will be coming to retailers before the end of the year - please stay in touch with your local retailers."

Even in India, some retailers have managed to get some stocks unofficially and are charging a high premium for it. A Digit report revealed that they¡¯re charging around Rs 90,000 for the console in India, whereas the MRP in India is Rs 49,990.
What¡¯s worse is that not only is this way overpriced, but these consoles would never really get warranty and support if something were to go wrong with it. And as we¡¯ve seen with consoles in the past (whether the red ring of death on the Xbox or the blue light of death that plagued some PS4 consoles) and in some cases, these issues weren¡¯t fixable.
In case you really want another next-generation console, Microsoft¡¯s Series X and Series S are also worth checking out, although you won¡¯t get to play the sweet Sony exclusive titles on them.
