Who is Rosa Parks?

Rosa Parks is a significant figure for the Black community, who fought for their rights for years.

Rosa was a prominent American civil rights activist who is known for her refusal to give up her bus seat to a white passenger in Montgomery, Alabama, back in 1955.

The simple act of defence sparked the Montgomery bus boycott, which marked the start of the civil rights movement, and the incident led to the dismantling of racial discrimination on public transportation.
