Michael B Jordan has hit the jackpot with his latest film Sinners, which opened in theatres on April 18 and set the box office on fire. It packed a punch on its first Wednesday and remained the top choice of the audience.
According to Box Office Mojo, a trade website, the film earned $6.1 million on April 30. This is roughly 11% lower than the $6.9 million it earned on Wednesday. The film¡¯s total collection in the US stands at $141.7 million. It raked in a further $40 million from markers outside the US. The film¡¯s total worldwide gross stands at $181 million.
Sinners is already a profitable venture for the makers as it was shot on a modest budget of $90 million. Interestingly, it has done so despite underwhelming reviews.
