Cops Just Blew Up A Suspicious Bag At Rome Airport, Only To Find Coconuts In It!
Cops at Rome airport seemed to have no choice but to blow up a suspicious-looking suitcase. The bag had nothing but coconuts and some clothes in it Talk about an overreaction Journalist Ned Donovan documented the fiasco on Twitter. The incident quite obviously left Tweeple in splits.
It's very easy to get scared and uncomfortable with a lonely bag lying around at the airport. It's understandable for passengers to freak out, and it's mostly in the hands of the authorities to take stock of the situation.
With technology, everything is easily detectable, but cops at Rome airport seemed to have no choice but to blow up a suspicious-looking suitcase. To everyone's surprise, the bag had nothing but coconuts and some clothes in it!
Talk about an overreaction!
Journalist Ned Donovan ¨D who was inside the airport at the time, documented the fiasco on Twitter. ¡°The Italian police have just blown up someone¡¯s bag in Rome Airport and are now going through someone¡¯s pants,¡± he wrote.

There¡¯s so much about this incident that I enjoyed and also felt so Italian. They blew up what they thought was a bomb in the middle of the airport while people were about 10 metres away, and then when it was destroyed the police just wandered off and left it to be cleaned up
