Bridgerton renewed for season 5 and 6

Additionally, Netflix revealed that Seasons 5 and 6 of the show have been approved.

"Mayfair’s esteemed Bridgerton family will return for two more seasons: Seasons 5 and 6," Netflix announced. "A rousing celebration is certainly in order."

Shonda Rhimes, the executive producer, had stated that the eight Bridgerton books would be turned into eight Netflix seasons.

Along with Rhimes, Betsy Beers, Tom Verica, and creator Chris Van Dusen, showrunner Jess Brownell serves as executive producer of Bridgerton.
