A 10-year-old British Sikh school girl just wanted to play with some mates at a London playground, but they refused and called her a ¡®terrorist¡¯. Now she has released a video on social media, posted by her dad with the handle @sikh_sad in which she said that the teens who called her a terrorist need greater "exposure and knowledge."
The turbaned kid eloquently related the events how they happened and the way she handled it. The video opens with her saying, "On Monday and Tuesday at a park, I was greeted not very nicely by four kids and a mother of a young girl.¡±
Munsimar Kaur further relates, "On Monday, two boys who looked like 14 to 17 years old and two girls who looked like they were in their late teens - when I asked to play the game they were playing and the queue was a mile long - they said, loud and clear, 'no, you can't play because you are a terrorist'.''
Obviously the words affected her but she kept her "head up and walked away". Next day she went to the same place and made friends with a nine-year-old girl. "After an hour, her mum called her and said she can't play with me because I was, apparently, dangerous," says Munsimar in the video.?
However she had a message for the world, "This experience has shown me the lack of exposure and knowledge some people have. And Sikhs are naturally caring and no matter what, we will love everyone."
"But I need to speak out about this because not everyone is strong enough to walk away or has suitable parents to talk to and handle this racism. I will hang out with the right people."
She also asked her fellows to talk to their parents if they face something similar. The elegant way the little girl handled the matter is being appreciated and supported by people.?

One does not except such strength from a 10-year-old. She has proven to be an inspiration, not only for the Indian kids in foreign lands but also adults who are victims of racism.?
