Fans are going crazy over the similarity between the scene in the teaser and Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan's final sequence in Pathaan, which was released today.

If you've seen Pathaan, you'll recognise that this video is basically a comic version of the fierce discussion between Srk and Salman. They are both seated on a raised platform, discussing how long they have been in the business and whether anyone could replace them. Johny and Saurabh also talk about how most new age artists can't fill their shoes. Also, if you read between the lines, you will see a subtle yet amusing jab at Kapil Sharma. He is referred to as "jo tv pe bulata hai logo ko" by them.
The promo was captioned ¡°Kursi ki peti baandh lijiye mausam bigadne nahi, comedy hone wala hai!¡±.

Talking about the project, Director Farhad Samji said, ¡°After creating multiple movies in the comedy space, I wanted to explore a different format with this genre and bring all the legends of comedy together. With ¡®Pop Kaun¡¯ coming soon, the idea was to create a fun family binge-watch show for audiences across generations.¡±
This Yam Productions-produced series will provide some amusing and engaging tales for viewers and those looking to unwind by watching comedy dramas. The director claims that it will undoubtedly make them laugh.

On the professional front, Farhad is renowned for helming movies like "Bachchhan Paandey," "Entertainment," "Baby Come Naa," and the upcoming "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan," which stars Salman Khan.
The performers, who have been working in the business for about 30 years, have adorned the silver screen with their brilliance in a variety of roles and made spectators laugh out loud with their proficiency in portraying comedy characters!
The show will come out on Disney Plus Hotstar.
