You may have heard by now that Fawad Khan and Mahira Sharma are soon going to star in a new web series for Netflix. The multi-starrer Jo Bache Hain Sang Samait Lo original series has Sanam Saeed, Raza Mir, Mahira Khan, and Fawad Khan as its key actors. The series will be based on the best-selling 2013 Urdu novel of the same name by acclaimed novelist Farhat Ishtiaq.
Although the series takes its sweet time to premiere, there are a few Pakistani dramas that can make the wait worthwhile.
1. Humsafar
During its run, this program was one of the most watched. It shed light on the true relationship a married couple has and the different difficulties they encounter before to their final union.

The idea of women's empowerment was the main theme of this program. It delicately illustrated the challenging path taken by a woman in a patriarchal culture. Sanam Seed's portrayal of Kashaf, the female heroine, leads to her decision to challenge sexism by standing up for her own identity.
