Halle Bailey¡¯s The Little Mermaid is all set for release in May 2023. A new clip of the film has been released that reveals the look of Eric and Ursula.
Disney has revealed a new look of Halle Bailey as The Little Mermaid. In the new clip, we also see the first look of Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric and Melissa McCarthy¡¯s Ursula. There is also a glimpse of Halle singing the hit song, Part of Your World, in the small clip shared.
The Little Mermaid is directed by filmmaker Rob Marshall.

The Little Mermaid will hit theatres on May 26, 2023. The film is a live-action remake of Disney's 1989 movie The Little Mermaid. The film will star Halle as Ariel. Earlier, when the trailer for The Little Mermaid was released, a lot of fans applauded Walt Disney Pictures and director Marshall for casting a black woman as Ariel.
Halle Bailey was cast in the role in 2019, triggering a backlash against her suitability for the part, which was largely characterized as racist.
