SUGA is back! BTS reunites as Min Yoongi completes his duties; pens emotional post for ARMY

ARMY, who have patiently waited since 2022, supporting both group songs and solo careers, have been eagerly anticipating this day - the symbolic reunion of BTS. While fans await to get a glimpse of him, the rapper took to Weverse to write an emotional post for all.

SUGA pens note for ARMY

Taking to the app Weverse, he spoke about his time away from fans for 2 years and how it's a day he has been waiting for. He also said thank you to the fans who waited not just for him but also for the group. He also spoke about the DUI incident - where he was riding an electric e-bike while drunk and fell down while taking a sharp turn.

"Hello, everyone. Nice to meet you. It's SUGA. It's been about two years. How have you all been. It's been a long time since I was called off today. It's a day I've been waiting for and it's been a long time, so I had a lot of thoughts on how to say hello. First of all, I wanted to say thank you to the fans who have been waiting for us. Although SUGA was officially set to be discharged on June 21, BIGHIT Music confirmed he used his remaining leave to finish his service early. Still, fans gathered outside the HYBE building, hoping to catch a glimpse of him.

Many ARMYs have shared photos of fan projects placed around the building to welcome the rapper back. Some even spotted heightened security activity - and a black car, often associated with BTS members - entering the premises.

ARMY await the first live

Hoping to catch a glimpse of the star, fans around the world have cleared their schedules in anticipation of AGUST D - SUGA's alter ego - going live after months of silence.

SUGA seen at J-Hope's concert

The star was seen with the rest of BTS last week, cheering on bandmate J-Hope during his concert at KINTEX Exhibition Center 2 in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. The performance was part of the 2025 BTS Festa and also featured surprise appearances by Jungkook and Jin.
