The model was first created for Formula 1 in the 1990s, and it has since adopted archival colorways as well as a number of new fashions, including a highly praised ballet-inspired variant.
The Speedcat Plus is a new, improved model that PUMA is introducing to the Speedcat family, marking yet another significant advancement. The fabrics and layers are very different, but the Speedcat silhouette and Formstrip remain the same.
The Speedcat Plus switches to a more durable leather and mesh blend, whereas the original Speedcat was often made of suede. The sneaker's upper part is a V-shaped leather overlay that covers the tongue's sides and toe.
