The workplace is a busy place that sucks everyone dry by the end of the day. However, there are jokers and funnymen amongst us in office. They are the best stress busters in a hectic environment. After all who isn¡¯t up for a good joke? A smile or laughter doesn¡¯t cost anything.
So, this time instead of asking for love stories that blossomed at work, I asked for funny moments at the office that had my colleagues¡¯ funny bones tickling.
Read along with me and share a chuckle!
1. "A colleague once asked our boss for a holiday and the conversation went something like this:
Employee: 'Boss, mujhe kal chutti chahiye.'
Boss: 'Why?'
Employee: 'Jail jaana hai.'
We all were obviously stunned! He later told us that he had a theatre workshop at Tihar Jail for which he needed to be present."

2. "I was a producer in my previous job and it was during the 2015 world cup when Vinod Kambli was visiting our workplace as a sports expert. So, one day we weren¡¯t aware of him being in the same room and kept cracking jokes about ¡®bald¡¯ people. He was laughing along with the crowd. Till we realised he was sitting there as well. Instead of being offended, he sportingly told a few jokes himself. For the remainder of the world cup, he became a friend who would sit with us everyday."

3. "This happened in the organisation that I worked at a few years ago. On Holi, our editor brought a bottle filled with bhang. Some of us had it and it was extremely potent. So potent that when I went to the washroom, I found the editor passed out in one of the toilet stalls."

4. "It was my first day at work and I was just settling in. Everything was going well until one fine day when I walked into the elevator and just as the doors were closing, somebody entered. There was an audible gasp. The new entrant was a Tinder date who I ghosted after our first date. In my defence she hated food. I mean, who hates food?"

5. "I was one day eating my lunch. It was a month into my job when I looked at the television screen in the cafeteria. Our news channel¡¯s anchor was screaming into the mic. What did he say that made me leave my job soon enough? ¡®Kele ke patte par mila bhagwan!¡¯ Needless to say, that was the catalyst in my decision-making."
