China slams Donald Trump over Iran strikes, says US has damaged global credibility with dangerous nuclear site attacks
China has condemned the recent US airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities under Donald Trump, calling them dangerous and damaging to Washington¡¯s global credibility. Beijing warned of possible escalation and confirmed it had safely evacuated over 3,000 Chinese nationals.

China has strongly criticised the United States after recent airstrikes on Iran¡¯s nuclear facilities, stating that the Donald Trump-led administration's actions have harmed US credibility and risk escalating tensions in the Middle East. The statement came after a UN Security Council meeting held on Sunday.
The US had bombed several key Iranian nuclear sites, including the Fordow facility, in what Trump described as a joint military action with Israel. He claimed that Tehran¡¯s main enrichment sites had been ¡°obliterated.¡±
Call for ceasefire at UN security council
The attacks led to urgent discussions at the UN Security Council, where China, along with Russia and Pakistan, urged the 15-member body to push for an immediate ceasefire in the region.
China¡¯s UN Ambassador Fu Cong said that all sides must avoid resorting to further force and should not ¡°add fuel to the fire.¡± He called on Israel in particular to halt its military actions to prevent further instability.
Fu also noted that while Iran suffered physical damage, the US had lost credibility, both diplomatically and as a party to future international talks.

At a press briefing on Monday, foreign ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun described the strikes on IAEA-supervised nuclear sites as a ¡°serious violation of the United Nations Charter.¡±
