UAE won the toss and chose to bat, with openers Esha Oza and Theertha Satish in top form. Oza smashed her third T20I century off 51 balls, finishing on 113, while Satish blasted 74 from 31 balls. The pair added 192 runs before both walked off retired out.
What followed was each batter coming to the crease, padded up, and immediately retiring out to close the innings. Although a formal declaration isn't allowed in T20Is, UAE effectively did just that. Qatar took to the chase amid all the drama, but what followed was a complete destruction of their batting lineup. Only three batters managed to score runs, with Rizpha Bano Emmanuel top-scoring with 20. After her, the next highest scorers were Angeline Mare (5 off 6) and Shahreen Bahadur (2 off 13).
Qatar got all out for just 29 in 11.1 overs, with UAE's Michelle Botha claiming 3 wickets and Katie Thompson picking up two. Heena Hotchandani, Esha Rohit Oza, Indhuja Nandakumar, and Vaishnave Mahesh each took one wicket, completing a dominant bowling performance. The entire match lasted only 27.1 overs, resulting in a colossal 163-run victory for UAE.
