The business announced on Weibo that the Vivo X Fold 5 will launch in China on June 25 at 7 p.m. local time (4:30 p.m. IST). Vivo stated that the phone would be "lighter, stronger" than the X Fold 3 in the post. The accompanying poster features a bulging camera and a slim, folded profile. The Vivo X Fold 5 is now available for pre-order in China on the official website.

The phone is displayed on the landing page with a flat cover display, consistent, thin bezels, and a hole-punch slot in the middle of the top. On the back panel, we can also see a sizable, round camera module positioned in the middle. It is pictured with three cameras, an LED flash unit, and the Zeiss trademark on top. Vivo has confirmed in another article that the X Fold 5 will come in titanium, white, and green color options.
The Vivo X Fold 5 will be the first Android smartphone to have a direct connection to Apple's iCloud, according to Vivo Product Manager Han Boxiao. After connecting, users will be able to access iCloud files straight from the X Fold 5 file organizer software. The phone can serve as an extended screen for MacBook users and will be able to sync with an iPhone in real time. It is also rumored that pairing with AirPods is supported.
Additionally, Boxiao released samples of the Vivo X Fold 5's periscope telephoto camera. According to rumors, the phone would have three 50-megapixel cameras on the back. It is anticipated that the inner and cover screens will each include a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The X Fold 5 will include 8T LTPO main and cover screens with high-frequency PWM dimming, according to Vivo's previous confirmation.
According to reports, both panels have Zeiss Master color certification and T?V Rheinland global eye protection 3.0, and they can provide a local peak brightness of 4,500 nits. The phone is said to be dust and water-resistant, meeting IP5X and IPX9+ standards.
