Thudarum sees a dip on is second Friday
Mohanlal is in the limelight because of his latest film Thudarum, which opened in theatres last month. It packed a punch on its second Friday despite competition from Retro and Nani¡¯s HIT 3.
According to Sacnilk, a trade website, the crime thriller earned Rs 5.50 crore (nett) in India on its eighth day. This is lower than the Rs 7 crore it made on May 1. It, however, is still a pretty good figure for a normal working day.

The film¡¯s total collection stands at Rs 56.90 crore. Thudarum has received positive reviews, with critics praising the performances and screenplay. The healthy word-of-mouth is one of the reasons behind its success. It is expected to witness good growth over its second weekend.
