WWE SmackDown results: Ron ¡®R-Truth¡¯ Killings attacks John Cena after star-studded opening segment

John Cena opened the latest episode of SmackDown with an intense promo in which he spoke about his master plan to destroy wrestling. He claimed that he is always ahead of the competition and bragged about his wins over Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton. He was then interrupted by the two men and LA Knight. The segment ended on a shocking note as Ron ¡®R-Truth¡¯ Killings beat the daylights out of ¡®The Last Real Champion¡¯.

John Cena was at his heelish best as he spewed venom on Randy Orton, R-Truth, and Cody Rhodes. The star claimed that he was always several steps ahead of everyone. He also added that Seth Rollins, the current Mr Money in the Bank, will never cash-in on him. He then reminded everyone that he would walk away with the Undisputed title when he calls time on his career at the end of the year.

Cena was then interrupted by Rhodes, Orton, and LA Knight in that order. All of them vowed to win the King of the Ring tournament and secure a championship match at SummerSlam.

R-Truth teaches John Cena a lesson

After realising that he was being outnumbered by his foes, Cena exited the ring. He was, however, ambushed by R-Truth. Truth/Killings considered Cena to be his ¡®hero¡¯ and even came to his aid during his match against Orton at Backlash. He, however, was later humiliated by Cena at Saturday Night¡¯s Main Event. Killings eventually got a measure of revenge when he attacked Cena and Money in the Bank. This cost, ¡®him and Logan Paul their match against Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso.
