India's real hero Sonu Sood couldn't see people, including his fans, stationed outside the home after IT-raids. There were people with innumerable questions as soon as reports of IT sniffing out financial irregularities of Rs 250 crore by Sood came out.

During an interaction with NDTV, he even spoke about 'due diligence and said that every donation would be used eventually for helping the needy.

1. He said every rupee was used judiciously to make sure people who need it get its benefits. Sood was quoted as saying:

(After much hard work, when a person donates even a rupee, it is your responsibility to put it in the right place¡that's a responsibility they put on our shoulders)¡±
2. Hinting that he is being touted as a 'defaulter' in the tax case, he said every penny had been used to save lives. He added:

"Every rupee in my foundation is awaiting its turn to be used to reach the needy and save lives."
3. Sood said he didn't want to speak right now considering the investigation is still on but he wanted to clarify an important fact.

"I wasn't supposed to speak. But I'll tell you a simple thing. In my foundation, the maximum money that has been donated is from my endorsements. Second, no foundation can spend money overnight, and it takes time. When someone donates even Rs 1 out of his hard-earned money, it is our responsibility to use it appropriately. In every foundation, the expenditure requires time, and it is done when the need arises. I wish to open a hospital. Sonu Sood rahe na rahe koi farak nahi padta, kaam raise hi Chalte rehna chahiye (Whether am alive or not, work must go on). That's the vision I have. I want to touch the lives of as many people."
4. In an interview with NDTV, he said he received offers of a Rajya Sabha seat from two parties, but he was ¡°not mentally ready¡± to join politics. He was quoted as saying,

¡°Whatever documents, details they asked for, we gave. Whatever questions they asked, I answered. I did my part, and they did theirs. Whatever questions they raised, we answered every one of them with documents. That's my duty. We are still providing documents¡it is part of the process."
Sood also addressed the stocked-up money found in his bank account and added that the money is from his brand deals and endorsement projects, which he had asked the brands to keep aside for humanitarian causes.
Sood added that he submitted 'whatever documents' the IT officials have asked for and answered their questions as a part of his duty.
