IPL is set to resume on May 17, with PSL also restarting on the same date. Interestingly, a few foreign stars have taken this opportunity to jump ship¡ªleaving the PSL mid-season to join the cash-rich tournament in India.

Tensions between India and Pakistan had recently reached a boiling point, forcing a temporary suspension of both the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 and the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025. Now that the situation has de-escalated, IPL is set to resume on May 17, with PSL also restarting on the same date. Contrary to earlier claims by Pakistani sources that the league would shift to the UAE, matches will now take place in Rawalpindi and Lahore.
