How to destroy Corrupted Items in FBC: Firebreak?
Corrupted Items in FBC: Firebreak can mess up your whole run if you don¡¯t deal with them. But there¡¯s a way to destroy them mid-mission using a special Black Rock gun. Here¡¯s how to find that weapon and use it properly, plus a list of the worst Cursed Objects you¡¯ll face.

If you're doing jobs in FBC: Firebreak and the Corruption level is high, you¡¯ll find some nasty surprises waiting for you. Corrupted Items are basically cursed objects scattered around the Oldest House, and they come with dangerous effects. But unlike most games, Firebreak lets you get rid of them during the mission itself.
To destroy them, you¡¯ll need a Black Rock gun.

Absolutely loving #FBCFirebreak so far i hope the devs add more missions (and interactions like this) pic.twitter.com/uBfnt8n60S
You can grab a Black Rock gun from any active Ammo Station on a Clearance 3 job. Look just under the ammo table on the bottom-left side of the station. Sometimes you can also find one in a Shelter if you're lucky. The Black Rock gun fires shards that neutralize the curse.
It carries 90 total shots, 30 in the mag, 60 in reserve, and there¡¯s no way to refill it. Thankfully, you only need about 15 bullets to take down one cursed object, so one gun is enough to deal with all three in a mission if you don¡¯t waste ammo.
Where to find the cursed items and what they do
On Clearance 3 jobs with level 3 Corruption, each of the three map segments will contain one Corrupted Item. They spawn in random spots, and some even move around, so be ready to hunt. Once you find one, blast it with the Black Rock gun until it disappears.
Some cursed items are annoying. Others can ruin your whole run:
- Table Saw: Disables your entire team¡¯s Resonance Shields
- Crowbar: Breaks mechanical stuff like generators and power switches
- Snare Drum: Speeds up enemies, including their attacks
- Ramen Lantern: Messes with lighting
- Wolf Globe: Weakens gravity
The Ramen Lantern and Wolf Globe aren¡¯t too bad, but the Snare Drum is brutal. It affects enemy speed and fire rate, which can make ranged foes, especially heavies, way harder to deal with.
If you want your mission to go smoothly, don¡¯t skip the Black Rock gun. Get it early, destroy those cursed items fast, and keep your squad safe from disaster.
