The incident happened during the batting innings of the Kolkata Knight Riders. While the stand-in skipper of RR was bowling, the stump mic caught Riyan Parag abusing Yashasvi Jaiswal.
Parag delivered a full ball on the off-stump, which KKR's Angkrish Raghuvanshi played towards long off. Jaiswal, positioned in the deep, retrieved the ball but made a sluggish throw back to the bowler's end. This was the moment when Parag got frustrated by the lack of effort and was overheard directing an angry outburst at the RR opener.
