In a major development amid the heightened Israel-Iran tensions, US President Donald Trump announced that the United States carried out what he calls a "very successful attack" on three nuclear sites in Iran¡ªFordow, Natanz, and Esfahan.
The piece of information by Trump on the X (formerly called Twitter) platform called Truth Social, where he wrote that they have completed their very successful attack on the three nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan, and all planes are now outside Iranian airspace.
"A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is no other military in the world that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE! Thank you for your attention to this matter," he added in the following post.

US used B-2 bombers in the air strikes
According to Reuters, a US official confirmed that B-2 stealth bombers were used in the strikes. On Friday night, multiple B-2 bombers were seen taking off from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri and heading west, reported CNN.
By Saturday, the aircraft had been seen flying over the Pacific Ocean, allegedly heading toward Guam. The report went on to note that the B-2 Spirit bombers can carry the Massive Ordnance Penetrator, which is a 30,000-pound "bunker buster" bomb, believed to be the only weapon capable of breaching Iran's heavily fortified Fordow nuclear facility.
Each B-2 is capable of transporting two of these bombs.

Meanwhile, in the middle of all this, Truth Social went down across the US on Saturday evening, just minutes after Donald Trump announced air strikes.
By 8:20 p.m. EDT, Down Detector had logged over 1,700 outage reports, with numerous users facing server issues that impacted both the app and the website. The platform crashed just minutes after President Donald Trump revealed that the U.S. had launched airstrikes on Iran's nuclear facilities.
