WWE Raw results: John Cena opened the latest episode of Raw with an intense promo in which he spewed venom on the WWE Universe for supporting R-Truth, who cost him his match at Money in the Bank. He was soon interrupted by CM Punk. ¡®The Second City Saint¡¯ vowed to become a ¡®monster¡¯ to stop the soon-to-retire star from ¡®ruining¡¯ wrestling. He added that he was fighting for the people.

CM Punk confronts John Cena on Raw

John Cena suffered a setback at Money in the Bank when Ron ¡®R-Truth¡¯ Killings cost him and Logan Paul their tag match against Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso. On the latest episode of Raw, ¡®The Franchise Player¡¯ addressed this and lashed out at the WWE Universe for supporting the 53-year-old star. He added that fans would forget about him in a year. Cena then remind everyone of his ongoing retirement tour and emphasised that he has ¡®limited time¡¯ left.

Cena was interrupted by CM Punk, who said that he was there to save wrestling for his fans¡¯ sake. He also reminded the Hollywood actor that he sold out to The Rock at Elimination Chamber. He then challenged Cena to a match for the Undisputed Championship. Cena responded by saying that such a match should happen only at Night of Champions. The two were interrupted by Seth Rollins, the current Mr Money in the Bank.

Why was CM Punk not in the Money in the Bank match?

CM Punk is currently embroiled in a feud with Seth Rollins¡¯ faction, which includes Bron Breakker ¡®The Best in the World¡¯ failed to qualify for Money in the Bank after ¡®The Visionary¡¯ inferred in his qualifying match. The match, which also included AJ Styles, was won by El Grande Americano.
