'Welcome home, V!' Bing Crosby's X account celebrates BTS' Kim Taehyung's military discharge

After enlisting in December 2023, the duo completed their mandatory military service and emerged from the base at 9:00 AM KST (5:30 AM IST), marking a major milestone for the global fanbase, ARMY, as BTS moves closer to reuniting as a full seven-member group.
As ARMY celebrated the members' return, one artist in particular also welcomed V ¡ª Kim Taehyung ¡ª back home, and it was none other than the late music legend Bing Crosby.

The K-pop star previously collaborated with the late Bing Crosby on a special rendition of "White Christmas," released on December 6, 2024. This posthumous duet marked Crosby's first new release in nearly five decades and beautifully blended V's love for jazz with Crosby's iconic vocal style. Offering a fresh take on the 1942 classic, the track bridged generations, with V's smooth vocals creating a nostalgic yet contemporary tribute.
Interestingly, Bing Crosby's official social media account shared an AI-generated image of the two artists together and wrote: "Welcome home, V! From one crooner to another, we're sending love and warm wishes as you return from the army. We think Bing would be the first to serenade you with a 'welcome home' tune. #SEE_V_TODAY"
