'Until very last minute...': Iran's foreign minister shares cryptic post following Donald Trump's ceasefire announcement in 12-day war
Following US President Donald Trump's ceasefire announcement in the 12-day war, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi shared a cryptic post, stating no agreement had been reached yet and warning that Iran¡¯s response would depend on Israel halting its aggression.

US President Donald Trump announced a 'complete and total' ceasefire between Iran and Israel on Tuesday via Truth Social. Now, hours after the announcement, Iran responded to the US president in a cryptic post, stating that it had not received any ceasefire proposal from the United States that called for a truce.
On the other hand, Israel has maintained their silence on the ceasefire claim and is yet to comment on its implementation. In the post, Donald Trump said that the ceasefire would be phased in over 24 hours and would bring an 'official end' to the war.
Trump went on to indicate in his post that Israel and Iran would give time to finish any ongoing mission, after which the ceasefire would be implemented in gradual phases.

Iran's cryptic post on Trump's ceasefire announcement
Iranian foreign minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi took to his X (formerly called Twitter) to say that there is 'no agreement as of now.'
In the post, he also mentioned that as of now, there is no agreement on any ceasefire or cessation of military operations. "However, provided that the Israeli regime stops its illegal aggression against the Iranian people no later than 4 am Tehran time, we have no intention to continue our response afterwards. The final decision on the cessation of our military operations will be made later," he wrote.
As Iran has repeatedly made clear: Israel launched war on Iran, not the other way around.

"Together with all Iranians, I thank our brave Armed Forces, who remain ready to defend our dear country until their last drop of blood, and who responded to any attack by the enemy until the very last minute," he added.
