WWE Raw results May 5: CM Punk returned to WWE programming on the latest episode of Raw and helped Jey Uso retain his World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins. This came just two weeks after ¡®The Visionary¡¯ and Bron Breakker destroyed Roman Reigns and ¡®The Second City Saint¡¯.
WWE Raw May 5: CM Punk saves Jey Uso
Jey Uso opened the night with a passionate promo in which he called out Logan Paul for assaulting him last week. However, in a surprising development, Paul Heyman interrupted ¡®The Yeet Master¡¯ and revealed the reason behind his decision to betray Roman Reigns, The Yeet Master¡¯s cousin, at WrestleMania 41. He pointed out that ¡®The Tribal Chief¡¯ had left him at his family¡¯s mercy after losing to Cody Rhodes last year. Heyman then manipulated Jey Uso into putting his World Heavyweight title on the line against Seth Rollins. It was soon revealed that this was Rollins' plan to get a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship.

Later in the night, Jey took on Seth Rollins in the main event. Both men took each other to the limit. However, the former Shield member got the upper hand when Bron Breakker interfered. Luckily to Jey Uso, Sami Zayn got involved and tried to neutralise the young Steiner. However, Breaker eventually took him out with a spear. Seth Rollins capatalised on the chaos and hit Jey Uso with a curb stomp. However, he wasn¡¯t able to pin him as CM Punk returned and assaulted Breakker and Rollins, helping ¡®The Uce¡¯ retain the title.
